markymarkthree 160 Posted January 19, 2017 Big round hole will be a different size between PFL & FL.
TIB3300 389 Posted January 19, 2017 If you buy a face lift, its easy enough to convert and make the holes smaller
cortina-city 141 Posted January 19, 2017 crumple zones different on facelift, though it will still work, in theory both sides would be replaced to make it an even frontal smash n crumple :shocking:
mk2 addict 7 Posted January 20, 2017 Ive got one chassis leg complete with the other bit attached and one with just the chassis. Didnt realise there was a difference! The one I have complete is probably mk3 as its brown. Maybe il buy mk5 inner wings with chassis attached

sheffieldcortinacentre 529 Posted January 20, 2017 (edited) The hole is about half the size, I seem to recall the the leg is a different thickness/depth, The mk5 one is Def thicker than a facelift mk3. There's more differences than you'd think. Hard to show without pics. The sub frame mounuts are all in the same planes but aren't a simple mix &match. You'd be better trying to repair or hold out for a full repair piece. I can post you a paper pattern of the correct lower front one if you p.m. your address.
