Koln Axle for 1600

Koln who's he never heard of it

 

The 1300 and 1600 non-atlas axles that were fitted to mk3 (& mk4 and 5 i think) cortinas

 

(or was that a joke I missed?)

Im looking for a Koln 1600 axle with a 3.89 diff.

 

What is out there?

Thanks Jayney, does it have a 3.89 diff? I thought it was a 1300 4.11??

 

Mine is perfectly fine but as its a 1300 axle the engine is screaming at 60mph!

I've got one out of the 1600 estate not sure what ratio, will try to check when I get home tonight.

I've got a 3.89 . It's a mk3 1600 estate with 9 inch backing plates . I may have the drums . £50 or swap for the 1300 .

I take it the little tag on the diff plate is no longer present?

 

If its from a 1600 it should be a 3.89. Paul Buzzard did mention the ones he sold to you were the ones I'm after.

If its 2.0 will be a 3.75:1
