nrnorwich 0 Posted August 19, 2017 (edited) Full running car for sale. Located in East Anglia near Lowestoft. Last on the road 2006, hence no MOT (stored in garage) 1974 car - hence road tax exempt. Many new parts unfitted - including full stainless steel exhaust system, panels(including both front wings), poly bushes, etc. Many used parts also included - for engine - suspension - running gear.. 1600 standard pinto with Weber carb and electronic ignition, type 9 5-speed gearbox box fitted was used with crusader interior to keep original interior in storage - hence original interior still in great condition Great project for serious enthusiast. The rear arches will need replacing and I have repair panels for these as well as a pair of 2 door rear arch repair panels I bought before tracking down some 4 door ones. The outer sills are solid. there has never been any welding needed inside the engine bay and front subframe area or where the rear axle bolts onto the body, which is where my previous cortinas rotted - hence I bought one that was solid in these places when I bought this car and kept it covered in waxoyl... Hence although it needs work and the car is solid in the most important places and could be restored to a very good standard with a little time and effort. It is dark blue outside and inside. (baltic marine blue) There are many parts, but I do want to sell the lot together to someone who will do the restoration - I do not want to split. My first car was a cortina hence I have many bits I collected over time and the buyer is welcome to them all, including the manuals and cortina club magazines, past tax discs mots ... etc... I owned this car for 21 years and was intending to restore it myself (hence collecting all the parts together over literally decades) but sadly for personal reasons this will not be happening now. best offer around 2000 pounds will be accepted buyer to arrange transport I do not have any pictures - at the moment but please feel free to ask any questions if you are seriously interested in buying Thank you.
