Barnstormer 7 Posted December 23, 2017 I know this is a bit late but if the diff has been running without oil there's a chance the whine isn't going to be fixed - depends on what condition the gear teeth are in! Sometimes there is no "magic fix" for a diff - ruined teeth are ruined teeth. Regarding costs you might want to call Andy @ ArrowEngineering as he is an Atlas axle specialist.
