I have an email address of a chap that had a lot of odds and ends, he may have a red carpet,I think he mentioned one a while back when I was looking for and he supplied me with my green one, I will check it out for you.

I tried in vain to get a ruby red carpet for my mk3 and spoke to stuboy off ebay about one and he said they were rare even when new. Might have to be a Coverdales or similar Mr Tibbs.

As a last resort, Ive got a new old stock Mk5 carpet in light beige (bought it for my old 2 door but the original carpet cleaned up so well that I didnt need it in the end) - I guess could be dyed red fairly easily, although youd have to paint the heel pad with vinylcote or something similar...

Rare :thumbup: but have a limited market, most people want black not many people want a red interior in there cortina

But you do realise if you find a red one it's going to give me doubts as to whether I should have held out for red. As it is I like PAL's all-black interior (even the head lining) but a red carpet... hmm, interesting... :headscratch:
