Mk5 fuel sender, twin pipe

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Does anyone have a new or good condition used sender they could let me have please? One of the pipes on mine has come loose AGAIN (drip drip) and I think I need to just use it as a spare.

Thanks

Neil

Thanks Craig. If you have one and can part with it, I'll take it.

Have you tried soldering it? I repaired mine with a plumbers blowlamp...

OK thanks for checking Craig. Still looking then.

Thanks Danish - I initially tried Chemical Metal, and when that failed, I soldered it, and it lasted a while. I did wonder if brazing it might last better. But it probably just needs someone with better soldering skills than I have!

So I'd like to fix the one that's on now, but keep it as a spare for one that hasn't ever come adrift.
