Last year some of you my remember I replaced the exhaust gasket and broke a stud off in the head resulting in me taking taking it off and drilling it out .

Got all back together and couldn't get it started timing again

In the end a friend of mine came to visit he was an ex mechanic and we got it going with just a tweak of the diss and was running ok part from the tappets were noisy .

So that's was last year ,

Thought I better get the tappets done because I want to bring it out this year in which I have done .But I must admit I have moved the distributor about and now it doesn't start .

Now I lost my enthusiasm and patience to sort it PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ? . Graham

Count to 10 Graham and have a cider.

Then.

Do we have a spark and wet plugs ?

Assuming a yes to both.

This is where my rotor arm sits at TDC on compression stroke.

Hopefully this helps.
