I have a pair I could measure - but they're in the loft and I can't get up right now. However, Old Part Store list a nut suitable for tank bolts, OHC inlet manifold and ARB drop link. So they must be M8. Measuring this photo:

http://www.oldpartstore.net/shop/798-fuel-tank-mounting-bolt.html

suggests around 110/120mm is what you need.

However, I wouldn't order on the basis of my ramblings, I'm sure someone will be along soon who can measure on for you!

Hi Brian,

If you ask these people they might sell you a set of Tank Strap Bolts on there own.

I have used them for all of the panels for my MK5 and found them very helpful.

Cheers

Steve

I used these ones, too.

Straight fit, no mods and are completely rust proof. I also managed to get stainless straps from ebay.
