Mk4Estate 2 Posted May 22, 2018 In 2014 or 2015 I asked BSC members if they could recommend someone to restore my Dad’s 1978 Cortina estate. To cut a long story short, Steve Taylor restored the car for me, stripping it back to the bare shell, repairing, painting and re-assembling it. The results were excellent. But things change and I have reluctantly decided the car should go to a home where it can be used and cherished. At present, it sits in my garage and I struggle to find the time to do more than take it out now and then. Full details are posted on Classic Cars for Sale website at http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/detail/ford-cortina-264134 My father bought the car in March 1981 and I inherited it, (in running order, but in need of some tidying) when he died in 1995. Since then, the car was stored until 2015 when I bit the bullet and asked Steve Taylor to restore it for me. Check out the ad and if you are interested, contact me and we can see if a deal can be agreed.
