Hi Terry - don't think you will find one - the perfectly round knob didn't come with a pattern as far as I know but i can always be proved wrong - Steve.

Yes they were plain, but other makes / marques had them & you could use one of those given reverse is in the same place.

Would an early Cortina be the one I want.

Just after something with a bottom left R, ball shape and a bit of patena.

No they were plain too - I have a feeling that all the Ford ones around the 60's were plain - BMC did have some with the gate on but reverse may be in the wrong place,

Dont exist as far as early Fords go. I think one of the Mk1 Capris had one with that position gate but very hard to find. Seen ball ones for MGC's and the like, but they are a different thread. I recently got given a knob with that same position on, but it wasn't a ball type and its not a Ford one either- no idea what it was from. I had to put a different thread into it.
