sheffieldcortinacentre 529 Posted October 7, 2018 (edited) Nope but hopefully will be here. If you want new ones the jaguar xj40 uses the same ones for the bonnet light. Edited October 7, 2018 by sheffieldcortinacentre
markymarkthree 160 Posted October 7, 2018 (edited) Those little black button ones are on both my cars with the ones on the estate looking like the originals and there is a strange horseshoe shaped connector on the end of the brown wires. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Mk1-Mk2-Escort-Interior-Light-Switches/192340473848?hash=item2cc862b7f8:g:2ugAAOSwry1Z62o~ Edited October 8, 2018 by markymarkthree
sheffieldcortinacentre 529 Posted October 8, 2018 Those are fitted to facelift ones dunno what the horse shoe thing is?
martog 128 Posted October 9, 2018 Those are fitted to facelift ones dunno what the horse shoe thing is? The end of the wire. Think of a ring terminal with a bit cut out and it's horse shoe shaped. Nowadays these terminals are U shaped. Nor can you get the little double ended spade terminal for coils etc. Would make life easier for converting cars to electronic ignition without cutting the plugs off original wires. sheffieldcortinacentre 529 Posted October 9, 2018 Do you meen the crimp on spade terminal with male & female end? If So got some of those, or the double male that bolt to coil terminal? As there easy enough to make from a strip of metal plate.
Kenworth W900 38 Posted October 9, 2018 Are you talking about 'piggy back' crimp terminals?
markymarkthree 160 Posted October 10, 2018 This is the horseshoe shaped conector fitted to both my PFL cars also fitted to this PFL loom. Check the size of the hole in the A post Gary, as i think the white switch requires a bigger hole.
