Steve Walton 128 Posted May 6, 2019 Hi, You might have a problem looking for Second Hand Tramp Bar Brackets. Bit like rocking horse poo. Expressed Panels do them for a MK1 Cortina. Downside is they are a Hefty £314.11p + Vat + P&P. for a pair. Cheers Steve
fiestachaser 7 Posted May 6, 2019 Yes, a small fortune new. That's why I thought I'd see if anyone's cut them off a shell or if any other ones fit. Escort ones are a tenth of the price. But, don't know if you can make them fit.

fiestachaser 7 Posted May 6, 2019 Thanks Brian, Nice tramp bars. The body brackets are more of a challenge at £325 for new repro ones.
johnny boy 159 Posted May 7, 2019 I have bought Escort ones, for my project, I'll make them fit. Its less work to buy a fabricated set and modify them, than make your own, and much better value. My project is a 2 door deluxe, so I'm not worried about originality, only function. If it was a GT however, id be not modifying it at all.
63Conrad 3 Posted May 7, 2019 Zack look out for a pair of brackets from a 1600E as they are the same on a Mk2 as a Mk1.

fiestachaser 7 Posted May 7, 2019 Hi Brian, Yes £20 cheaper than the ones on E Bay. Still a lot for a couple of brackets.
