mr Costin 56 Posted July 8, 2019 (edited) Got myself a 1970 Estate saturday, One of two registered in Sweden. Good condition, runs but dont stop, needs brake work. Problem (or not?) is that it has a very American style roof rack. Shall I leave it on or get rid of it? It is screwed to the roof panel, some 20 screws meaning some 20 holes... tinman 14 Posted July 8, 2019 just my opinion but I don't think the roof rack looks to out of place as roof racks go, would involve a lot of work to put the roof right if you do decide to remove it. looks in lovely condition and like the colour too!! 😊
dgo 76 Posted July 8, 2019 +1 for the roofrack, I like that and it makes the car pretty unique I suspect

GhiaMk4/5 207 Posted July 8, 2019 Another person for the looks good brigade both the roof rack and the car, it isn't a Granada roof rack as l have a 2.8i Ghia Estate, but it is of similar design.
mr Costin 56 Posted July 8, 2019 Thank you all for positive comments.Rack is a Volvo for the 1970's estate cars. it makes the car stand out even more than it does by it self, beeing a very rare car over here. I will post more pics soon.
