sheffieldcortinacentre 529 Posted November 28, 2019 If it's a 2.0 ohc already the bell housing is same so lhd will swap straight over.
107me 4 Posted November 28, 2019 It’s a cologne v6 I have 2 bell housings RHD & LHD . Want to use alloy RHD but wasn’t sure if it would fit/ work in LHD car. Any ideas on longer cable? thanks mark
sheffieldcortinacentre 529 Posted November 28, 2019 If you use the mk5/TC 3 ratchet type pedal one from a rhd 4x4 twincam Sierra might work (they go all way round eng bay as they all use a lhD gearbox)

Tiley 0 Posted November 30, 2019 Hi just to clarify I’d use no 5 ratchet pearls and it’s sierra cosworth cable that you need cheers 👍🏻
Tiley 0 Posted November 30, 2019 Or if you want to keep your original peadal use the cable from fso polenez if you can find one . And don’t ask how I know that but there’s goads of info in this head

sheffieldcortinacentre 529 Posted December 11, 2019 (edited) I've used trailer brake cables before cheap & come in various lengths The one in my V8 ( bellhousing is only avl in lhd & so has to go right round eng bay) only stood me at approximately a tenner instead of £100 for a custom one. I had to shorten outer & alter end of pedal but simple enough. Edited December 11, 2019 by sheffieldcortinacentre
