Right cars sending me nuts, can hear starter spinning but not hitting flywheel , I've never had it turning over as flywheel was knackered, I'm hoping I've the right starter and solenoid, there's still a wire which I tryed to no success

Plot thickens 110  teeth flywheel ,😌 know most are 132/135, been on eBay AA plodham list a 9 tooth starter for 110 flywheel which is a crossflow , I'm.hoping to try this , the one I have is a 10 tooth starter , could it simply be I need a 9 tooth instead of a 10 tooth?

New Borg n beck clutch kit arrived, had to fit a 2.0 flywheel,(135tooth) so be changing the starter to a pre engaged starter(10tooth) , be able to see if the knacker runs soon, cheers Craig Sheffield Cortina centre for sorting me a fly wheel out 🥺😃😁

Just throw a few curses at it like "start you bastard". Then big grin when it fires up.

The kit car I recently purchased hadn't ran for 11 years, good old 2.1 pinto, new oil, new belt, new plugs, pumped the throttle 6 times and it burst into life, I'm sure yours will be the same, if there's a spark and fuel and timing and the firing order is correct a pinto is pretty reliable and a good starter.
