MikeC 7 Posted March 7, 2020 (edited) Does anyone know the difference in sizes of series 1 and 2 windscreen., I think my shell is series 1, so do I need a series 2 screen and rubber to fit it. At the moment I have three spare screens but I don't know which they are. As the screen in mine is U/S and I need to change it. Sorry to bring this up again. jparsons 0 Posted July 27, 2020 (edited) No dispute from me that there are two sizes of screen as I have one of each on hand but interestingly the North American edition of the parts manual that I have makes no reference to this. I can vouch for the laminated one it weighs a ton. Ok I don't know how much help this will be. I have now fitted my screen on my series one and it went in a treat. I have used a secondhand series 2 screen with what I believe is a genuine ford second hand series 2 rubber from a 69 saloon which is in great condition. I removed all the mastic and used lots of soapy water, Maybe the ford ones are slightly different to all the repro ones.
