You bought this at just the right time so that you have something worthwhile to keep you occupied during this difficult time. Keep the updates coming👍 Cheers Brett. If I didnt have this to do I would be struggling im not somebody who likes to be stuck inside. Need to find a source for welding wire again lo

I blame the welding machine it is ancient and i did make it out of two different brand welders, sometimes it works great and I can get smooth consistent neat welds then it decides it dont want to play anymore and it looks like the pigeons have been in there It is strong welding with good penetration even if its good or bad to look at, I should have learnt now all the years i been doing it...never mind grinder and seam sealer are my best friends for crappy welding finishes. GhiaMk4/5 206 Posted April 13, 2020 Missed this thread, nice one, l have a Snap On welder(Cebora in a frock) and it has been brilliant, then the tensioner wheel crumbled and Snap On nor Cebora don't have any replacements, wtf, so l bit the bullet and purchased a 250 amp jobby, welds lovely or would if l could!!! Most your welds as you say can be made nice with a grinder and seam sealer, there was some very interesting projects for sale there, good on you for saving it.

MARK-H 21 Posted April 25, 2020 Little more done. I am getting fed up of welding so I did something else. Refitted the interior and fitted my Flashback to the rear window
MARK-H 21 Posted April 25, 2020 MK5 front seats fitted as they are more comfortable for my slightly heavier frame and they have headrests. you wont know the difference once my seat covers are on
