yes that was the auction. most of them were rotten. I know the mk5 estate has gone racing as did the ambassador, princess and datsun sunny. probably a few more did too

That's a shame ..I guess most of the cars havent been in dry storage although the door bottoms look okay . No way to treat an Ambassador !

It is a shame the ambassador came from that museum that closed down a few years ago. I cant remember the name of it. The biggest regret I have is not buying the Princess it was a decent car that could have seen the road again with little work.

Didn't look too bad at all the Princess but can't save them all. I remember a burgundy Ambassador from a musem collection being sold...could be the ex Stondon museum car  ?
