Identifying Pinto exhaust manifold

Recommended Posts

I've got the following 4-2-1 tubular exhaust manifold on my 2.0 litre Pinto engined kit car which I've tried to identify off the web. It has a flanged joint for two downpipes and has then had a stainless pipe welded on. Does anyone recognise it and perhaps have a good one or know of one for sale? The main part is salvageable, the lower half will need fabricating again. It has to pass through a very tight space so may be a one-off for the kit.

Thanks

Best I can say is not factory, probably for a seven variant

I used these guys (Link) for an exhaust a few years ago.  Don't know where you are or whether there's a similar business nearer you doing bespoke builds

Here is a photo of an original Pinto exhaust manifold off a MK3 GT. At least this will let you compare. Mine was rotten at the bottom and I had new one made by John Ashley. Mild steel the stainless from there back
