GhiaMk4/5 206 Posted October 2, 2021 Haven't posted on here for ages, as I've had a trip to the dark side, albeit, Capri's, both V6, they rust as much as Cortina's, but then I purchased a 2.8i, that has never been welded and doesn't want any TTF, but dry storage brings other problems. Back to the point, very nice repairs, I looked at a few Finnish motors before this Covid buggered up everything.

johnny boy 159 Posted October 3, 2021 Front panel / cross member / anti roll mounts done and primered / under sealed. As it's a recommission, rather than a restoration, I'm happy with the results.๐

johnny boy 159 Posted October 6, 2021 This morning's work was to repair/replace the missing gearbox core plug, that I assume got punched out of the gearbox when the ball and the bottom of the gearstick disintegrated. Put the propshaft back on, that I had replaced the u/j. Replace the gearbox and axle oil. Replace the engine oil and filter
