Swedish lefty MK2 series 2, 2 door

Recommended Posts

Well I found the exhaust was hanging too low, so had to re jig .

Moves under its own steam now, but brakes needs it more of a bleed, had to move off the ramp for other work, so the brakes and out rigger will have to wait.

This had been pushed outside and put back undercover whilst other stuff had to be done. I got it back into the barn this weekend, to finish it off, a few small bits to do.

It started up after a few weeks out side no problems. I need to replace the O/S/F jacking point, then thats all the welding done.

I'm hoping to get some miles under it, going to and from work, before christmas, then I will be selling it, as I just have too many vehicles.

It would make a nice winter project for someone, or just use it in all its patina gloryΒ

I got a day off work today , so it's time to do the o/s front jacking point.

As per usual it's more rusty than at first thought.

I've cut it all out, but the inner sill also needs cuting out , and new metal letting in.

Let see how we go πŸ™„

Well it's done , and polished, windows cleaned, read to start driving.

Unfortunately the road outside my house has been dug up by the Water company for the last 8 weeks, and it like a mud run, so I guess I won't be driving it until it's not so muddy πŸ™„
