Mk5 stalling and rear brakes

Hi all

Was moving the car yesterday from the garage and she's chucked up a couple of issues which I'm sure the knowledgeable ones will know the cause:). She ticks over ok but when i touch the accelerator she wants to stall. Secondly when reversing she's good for about 10ft then the rear pass wheel locks so i stopped and then moved back again until it locked again after 10ft and she kept on doing it. Tia

Possible that the Rear Pass brake has a loose Brake Shoe?

could stalling be failing condensor had that happen a couple of times to me starts first time but doesnt rev

Could be a carb issue,too much air is drawing,or not enough fuel being proportionately delivered. Is is the DGAV carb?

my memory has got so bad I can’t even remember the name of the carb. It’s the original type that always gave trouble. Mines an early mk5 1.6 pinto,Oo I remember that lol, the poor old girl is just sitting outside being neglected now :(
