Hard to say from this distance .... I'd guess and suggest "rattle can". Quite a good job, (probably LOTS of rattle cans)  :wine:

looks quite good to me, needs an engine and will need wheels.  Might well buy it.

I'd get the underneath closely inspected if you can, is it cheap enough, if it has been rattle canned, some paint has to be removed in its entirety before it can be re - sprayed, other paint can just be sealed, I'd turn it into a 2.0S replica, as I do miss my 77 R reg.

it is cheap, and my thoughts were as a source of spares, but it looks quite sound in the photo. Might just keep it to fiddle with and maybe get it  running one day Haven't seen it

we had a mk4 1600 L estate in that colour back in the eighties,it had bright green fabric trim.was an R reg.

Unusual to see a Ghia in that colour.

The colour is laurel green, it was an original colour on early mk4’s. If it has green interior which was available on early ones then you are on a real winner. I would love to see more pictures.

I had a very late 2000E estate in that's colour with tan interior ( didn't suit it. At all).
