White Ford Corsair Estate south bound on the A1 at Metro Centre/Gateshead, ok not a Cortina but it made me smile.

Honestly, I didn't know if there was such a thing....but the front is instantly recognisable and it was definitely an estate/shooting break/long-roof/call-it-what-you-will !!

only ever seen one at bromleys pagent motor show in the 90s sure abbots made them,

Yes converted by Abbotts of Farnham who also did consul classic & mk1-4 Z cars.

Theres a chap down here in the West Country who has a GT Corsair estate in white . Only does the local stuff but it is in good condition .

It doesn't mention it, but I think they used spare parts from the Mk1 estate creating the rear doors, rear pillars and roof. I tried to check www.fordcorsair.co.uk with Wayback, but there's nothing left of it but the index pages.

Yes they used MK1 parts , Corsair is built on a stretched MK1 shell.
