SusanButcher 33 Posted June 1, 2022 The world's population has doubled in my lifetime. In the Sixties there were dire warnings about worldwide overcrowding and food shortages in the 21st Century. That's not been quite as bad as they'd feared, but they were spot on about the amount of waste and pollution created by selling the good life to all those extra people. wolfrace 116 Posted June 7, 2022 I think a lot of problems stem from waste and over consumption so we have basically created the issues we face. Frustrating for those of us who’ve made an effort most of our lives not to wast things... Wasting food, wasting fuel with poor driving habits etc etc etc. If your house isn’t adequately insulated it wastes energy, it may not even be much so people ignore it or find it acceptable but it’s not just one individual doing this it’s billions of people worldwide.
