Just replaced it on my Mkl, it's very clever of these intelligent people to put an additive in that actually does this to fuel pipe rubber and associated injection parts.

I'm surprised Fuzz didn't talk about removing ethanol

 

When I store my classics, I put fuel in to clear containers, add a cup of water, give a good shape and leave upside down due 24 hrs

 

Then, drain the water and ethanol that settled at the bottom and pour the neat fuel in to the tank
