sheffieldcortinacentre 658 Posted May 18, 2024 They'll fit sierra MK3 Granada, MK3 transit. No idea seen all sorts of letters on them. Probably some internal code at engine plant.

Probably some internal code at engine plant. that's how i'll advertise the bits then , with "and other PINTOs" added. I have no need for the carb or alternator and i'm not sure i can use the flywheel/clutch, although people have told me I could, so I'll sell all them off if I can, and keep just the block and cylinder head intact against future need. norton 96 Posted May 19, 2024 (edited) initial look at the engine and the carb is a Weber so i might be able to use it , i don't know what spec it is as yet, maybe someone can tell. EDIT i think it may be a 28/30 dfth. would there be any advantage using this on my Cortina ? currently has a new 34ICH on it.. sheffieldcortinacentre 658 Posted May 19, 2024 You can't use the flywheel & clutch it's a 2.0 so bigger 215mm x 23 spline as opposed to 190mm x19 spline. You can use the carb if you alter the cable/linkage & the air filter won't fit it's too big. Trust me I've been doing this stuff circa 40years!
