sheffieldcortinacentre 610 Posted September 6 Yep think there is/was one V4 EST in the UK, the MK4 bakkie went 5 stud & went upto 1tonne but stayed same length as as EST like the MK3, the Mk5 was sold as std & lwb known here as the P100. All versions had the 1.6 ohv ( SA never used the 1.6 ohc , but the 2.0 replaced the Essex V4 in 1977 with the launch of the MK4 the 2.5 V6 was dropped at this point too, the cologne V4/6 were never offered either) the ohv 1.6 was also fitted in the sierra along with 200 MK1 sierra XR8's were built with the 5.0 V8 5speed all were 4dr hatches.( 2 possibly 3 are known of in the UK along with circa half dozen of the commoner 3.0 XR6 versions no cortinas were factory fitted with the V8).
