Heedwa 6 Posted September 15 Hello everyone So the headlight toggle switch broke today, and I'm wondering if this is repairable? The switch is still intact, but it doesn't click. It just loosely moves up and down, without turning the lights on. Do I need a new switch or can I repair it? If I need a new one, does anyone have one for sale? Cortina mk3, pre face-lift, 1972. Thanks for all your help, as always!

Heedwa 6 Posted September 15 Are they easy to dismantle?
sheffieldcortinacentre 600 Posted September 15 You ll probably have to find a replacement ( headlight is the harder one to find) the lever usually snaps inside there's never been spares for them. You can carefully get them apart but beware of springs/contacts escaping into another dimension. They can be rebuilt from canibilised parts but it's always the same part that breaks & unfortunately there unique to the prefacelifts.
