MK5 Louvre

Hi Folks

 

Would like to hear any opinions/thoughts on louvres made up of fibre glass

 

I am on the search for a while now for a mk5 louvre and came across the following,

 

The Autoplas brand are very scarce to come by these days.

Probably the only way you'll get one.

Look great on some cars ,crap on others.

Even the colour can effect suitably lighter cars suit them better.

I am pretty sure I saw something on FB about a newly manufactured louvre. It was (from memory) similarly priced to the one in your link so may well be the same people but I will try to find it.

I decided against it as there are no fittings included with it,

 

In time a louvre may surface with fittings included

The first picture in the ad show fittings ?

 

Just remembered, I obtained fittings from Autoplas themselves....this was in 2017, I've just checked back my e-mails to them.  They were very helpful.

BTW the Autoplas part no. for the louvre is KH-180

I have contact details for them should you need to get in touch?

On speaking to the guy he had no fittings going with the louvre.
