Mk4 cortina front screen corners.

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm after some replacement front corners for a mk5 estate. Will mk3 ones fit as Burton power or East Kent sell them?

Thanks in advance.

No there are two different sizes used on mk3-4-5 's you need like for like.

Narrow domed type.

Wide flat type.

Quick question, do the chrome corners fit over the fillet or flush up to it? My corners are smaller than the chrome fillet?

Right, so my fillet is about 14/15mm did ford fit a smaller one in mk3? my corners may be off a mk3 also if I get some 11mm wide( Escort mk1) will the corners fit over that ad it's narrower? I think the corners I've got may have come off a mk3 cortina but  not sure as they measure about 8mm

Far as I know there's just those 2 sizes mk5's used the larger one (possibly late mk4's) ,the Mk5 EST screen/rubber will fit all mk3-4's.

I would think MK1 escorts would use the small one as they were in production upto 74. Some late mk2's may have used the wide one.

It's a bit hit & miss after all these years.
