batty3636 3 Posted July 6, 2025 Good mate of mine, has a tiger type kit car with a type 9 fitted to a 2.0 zetec, he's has the shorter input shaft, has another box, can you change input shaft over or has someone got one they want to sell ? sheffieldcortinacentre 749 Posted July 6, 2025 Bottom one will be a V6 or diesel box, you can swap shafts but both boxes will have to be completely striped as shaft is fitted from inside. If he's going to use original 4 cylinder box he'll be fine, if he's going to use replacement bottles he needs to find out what it's from as diesel has terrible ratios for a petrol eng, he'll probably get away with V6 one being a kit car. Diesel bellhousing looks like a longer 4 cylinder one , V6 the top pair of bolt holes stick up on a lug ( so don't form a circle. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
