Does a 74-75 Mk3 steering wheel directly bolt onto a Mk4 steering column?

Any pics of the prototype? I've a few of Mk5 cortinas with sierra running gear & one with a sierraesque nose cone that were test mules the later to test cooling system.

The pinto was far closer to the European TC design ( running gear) I have pic somewhere in a MK3 brochure that shows under the rear of a pinto by mistake ( main difference is the full width fuel tank.

The MK3 cortina was sold ( prefacelift only) from 71-74 alongside the MK1 Capri through Lincoln Mercury dealers ( moreso in Canada than America) .

I've helped a young man over there who has one.

I've the sales brochure & factory workshop manual for them ( I think they were assembled in Genk ( as LHD mk3's forsale on the continent were built there) later ones had the energy absorbing front bumpers with the shock absorber mounts aswell as full smog equipment  amongst other differences.

No problem I'm fascinated by oddball vehicles especially mk3-4-5 cortinas.

Be they factory based or privately built.
