C0RKTINA 108 Posted August 11, 2025 about aa week ago i found i had a leak at the rear of the engine...i found the rocker cover gasket wasnt sat right, so I fitted another. Several days after, im finding three spots of oil appearing on the floor in a line roughly at the back of the engine.... is it possible the oil is running off the engine or gearbox still or should i look for another leak? there was quite alot of it, but now there's a lot less oil dripping now, just three fairly small spot....i cleared them away earlier , but they're back even though i didnt run the engine. Pretty sure it's engine oil by the way.....i suppose the crankshaft oilseal might be a suspect..... the oil was acculumating in no4 plughole, so im pretty sure the gasket was the culprit.....but i could have another leak i guess....would it take that long for oil to run off the engine?
