C0RKTINA 108 Posted September 30, 2025 Looking for recomendations, it seems Ashley may not have sufficent clearance and Pipercross possibly worse....
dgo 80 Posted October 2, 2025 I used a stainless one from Rally Design (not cheap) a good number of years ago, they still list them under Pinto engined Capris and Sierras but not Cortina anymore. Might be worth a call to see if those have the right shape/clearance Looks like they supply Ashley ones in mild steel which you have answered already

I wonder would I derive much benefit from the four branch seeing as I'm not building a race car, maybe a 2" system on the existing manifold might be sufficent? dgo 80 Posted October 5, 2025 It's definitely an improvement on standard. What other work are you planning - head, cam, carb etc?
C0RKTINA 108 Posted October 5, 2025 im not planning anything radical, ive already upgraded the carb, i have an unleaded head which i might fit. On the other hand, i might leave it alone as it drives really well as it is.
