It's an anti run on device, it's a solenoid that opens when the ignition is turned off letting a large amount of air into the inlet manifold. Only fitted to late ohv MK2 escorts/MK1 fiesta with ford single choke carbs (as other stuff got the VV carb which had a fuel cut of solenoid built into it) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
