TimB 102 Posted June 22 Did anyone else spot the MK5 estate on an auction web site that sold at the weekend for about £5.6K with fees. Within a day it's on eBay and already bids are up to £1K more. Unfortunately there's two problems Alot of the dealers can't afford to buy escorts anymore so are trying to push the price of cortinas up , problem is they don't evoke the same nostalgia in the customer base. Second they're believing they're own hype & think they're mike brewer that customers are all gullible idiots ( that will sell for peanuts & buy for mega money). 'Twas ever thus since the advent of Ebay Tim - you remember the old days when people ventured out looking for a car, today it's all done online after a few beers.
