Ref your fabric for repair, my front seat was only worn at the bottom of each side of the rear of the seat. i got loads of tan leather (they had black as well) from the scrap bin at a local upholsterers for £2, cut out two identical round shapes and stuck them on with a strong faric glue, job done :winner: well better than all the stuffing hanging out. Didn't think it would work but was quite suprised, ok till i can get a replacement seat or re-upholstered as mine are cloth.

Have had a look at my oil pressure sender, it only has an electrical wire coming off it for indication. I can't find any drawings of its make up and or fitting or removal. It seems to be bolted directly to the block, are the ones in the GXL/GT different? better still does anyone have a drawing or picture of the fitting in a GXL?

Anybody :( just looking at the center console now Got my console :) and sussed the wiring, one question though, is it possible to connect the oil pressure hose to a 1600 OHV engine and if so where abouts? Plus the bit's arrowed on the drawing does anyone have any or have any dimentions to make them OR any tips on fitting the console to a standard car (XL) :cheers:

Contemplating uprading the interior spec of my 72XL with a few GXL bits, how easy is it to change th wiring loom of the dash from XL clocks to GXL clocks and to wire in the 4 pod dials on a center console :winner:

It was the drop handle on the inner door, one of the hinges broke, mine are a tan colour, if you have one that would be great :cheers: its one of these
