The V5 shown is indeed an old version, I remember my nan had one the same for her old Magnum but as soon as a newer version was issued (Blue colour) the covering letter said to destroy the old one, its possible that it just wasnt updated but I would have thought that with the help of a suitable club the car could be returned to the database and hence back onto the road.

It says been of the road 36 years, I think that in 1982 there was a clearout at the DVLA, I as above you can MOT a vehicle without it being registered but this does seem strange. Have you actually veiwed the car in person, it could have been exported then brought back and somebody has just stuck its oud plates back on.

According to the Ford website we are supposed to be getting the next incarnation of the Mustang next year in RHD http://www.ford.co.uk/Cars/FutureVehicles/Ford-Mustang and in the seventies you could go to some ford dealers and order rhd us cars, mustang, us version of granada but usually the cost of the conversion made them much more expensive than say a capri or euro granada which were much better built

These day time running lights are my BIGGEST bug bear especially on VW vans & Golfs they are so bright that I get momentarily blinded by the damned things, incidentally neither my Mazda 6 11 MX5 12 or my skoda octavia 12 have these retched things I would hate to irritate other drivers as much as they irritate me.

I havnt had the problem since i raised the issue here, dont know if it has anything to do with the anti virus mines Kaspersky. The problem lasted about 3 weeks and it was only the BSC site I had this issue with :smashcomp: .
