Used the spot welder on top edge for that original look which it does. Very quick too. Cant wait to get the quarters on. The rear panel area is nearly finished!

 

Oh, i cut the old valance off in august 2003!!

 

Sorry its taking do long quys, bet your getting bored with this thread!

Started the o/s 'C' pillar today. Used a section from a scrap car and cut it to size and profiled it to suit, heres the step by step...

I thought i would try the chrome trim to see if it still fits. My measurements say it should of anyway but best to make sure

 

Maybe would have welded it in today but quess what, it started raining and was really windy all day :headscratch:

Fianlly getting the hang of welding. Heres a bit i did at uni using their gas less welder

What type of welder are you using? Looks like that gasless welder did a pretty good job. The reason i'm asking is that I am looking for a welder and wondering if the gasless is any good. Over here welders are either 220 or 110 volt. Not sure about in the U.K. though.?
