Wanted: Monroe rear Gas-Matic shocks Part No 42009

As the post says, I am looking for at least one Monroe Gas-Matic rear shocker part no 42009.

 

There is one on ebay, but the seller says thats his last so I am in need of another.

Obvious question - why old Gasmatics? Rather than going for something like Gaz adjustables which you can ger relatively cheaply: https://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=8641

Fair comment, & I would love to go the Gaz route. However, as I've used Monroes on my Granada/Cortina/Capri over the years, I'm happy with them. Also, I find Gaz are a tad more than you think, towards Spax money. The Raldes link you gave is one I've looked at before & its £44.50 each + vat + @£20 in shipping, so all of a sudden its not cheap.

The Spax I have on at the minute seem to have something seized as they dont stiffen regardless of how much I turn the adjuster.
