My mk3 Estate.

Had a bit of a play with the rear lights,i was told a while ago that bright orange LED bulbs would shine through the red lenses,so i went mad & bought some off ebay,£2.96 for two,with free postage. I even got two white ones for the reverse lights.

Well the orange ones worked ok,but the white ones never,but that is probably because there is a reflector over the light.

I love the estates and I really miss my old one

Not done much on the Cortina recently,a little bit of welding on the inside,but now i need to get to the nearside front.

There isn't enough space to work that end of my garage,so i'll need to turn the body shell around.

I have made this frame to put the body shell onto,so i can get it out of the garage & turn it around.

Got the body shell off the rotisserie & onto its new frame.

Are you sure you need to paint it though, it seems to have character of it's own as is.:biggrin:
